International Guitar Night Featuring: Scotland's Martin Taylor, Solorazaf from Madagascar, Guinga from Brazil and Brian Gore at The Barns at Wolf Trap
Cost:25.00
The current iteration of North America's premiere touring guitar festival features a percussion-driven expert (Solorazaf), an innovative genre-bender (Guinga), a poetical lyricist (Gore), and a revered jazz legend (Taylor).
Brian Gore's elaborate playing style includes classical and percussive techniques that reveal what the Los Angeles Times calls a characterful bounce and spaciousness all his own.
World-renowned jazz icon Martin Taylor, called the acoustic guitar player of his generation by America's Acoustic Guitar Magazine, has built his distinguished career around consummate virtuosity and stage presence.
Solorazaf elevates the art form of world music to that of transcendent cultural communication, sharing his mélange of influences by crafting rhythmically dynamic and captivatingly melodic guitar tunes.
Guinga is Brazil's most innovative songwriter, drawing on genres as varied as choro, samba, baião, frevo, modinha, waltz, foxtrot, blues, classical music, and jazz in his compositions.
